Jason Setnyk is a an award winning photographer, school teacher, news editor, author, and a community volunteer.

In January 2014 Jason Setnyk was awarded the People's Choice Award for the Annual Juried Photography Exhibit at the Art Gallery in Cornwall. His photos have also been displayed at The Cornwall Public Library (for a Focus Art Show), at the lobby of Aultsville Theatre (for Your Arts Councils AGM), and on sale at The Grind Cafe in downtown Cornwall.

His photos have been published in newspapers and in Cornwall Living Magazine. Jason Setnyk has done commercial photography including a shoot for Crush Lane Jewelry and photographing Steff of Canada's Next Top Model which was published in The Seeker.

Jason Setnyk was an official photographer of the Kinsmen Lift Off Festival, and he has photographed many bands including Alan Doyle of Great Big Sea, 54-40, Doc Walker, Down with Webster, Lou Gramm (Voice of the band Foreigner), Dean Brody, April Wine, Burton Cummings (Voice of Guess Who), Big Wreck, Sloan, Suzie McNeil, and many others.

With photo journalism Jason Setnyk has photographed politicians such as Prime Minister Stephen Harper, Federal Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau, Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne, and many others. He also photographed an NHL Charity Game, Charity Boxing matches, the Cornwall and Area Pop Event, and many other community events.
